How Artigellence handles your information. Plain English. Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles compliant.

Who we are

This site is operated by Raj Singh, sole trader, doing business as Artigellence and AAA by Artigellence.

ABN 83 988 690 362. Based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

We are an Australian Privacy Principles (APP) entity bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What information we collect

We only collect what is needed to do business with you.

Information you give us directly

• Name, business name, role, email, mobile, address — when you contact us, book a call, or sign Phase 0.
• Information about your business operations — only what is needed to scope or deliver an engagement.
• Read-only access credentials to your systems (ServiceM8, Xero, MYOB, Cliniko, etc.) — only after a mutual NDA is signed and only for the systems we have agreed to work on.

Information collected automatically

• Standard web server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer, timestamps. Kept for 90 days for security and basic analytics.
• If you book through cal.com, that service collects scheduling information governed by its own privacy policy.
• If you subscribe through beehiiv, that service collects email subscription data governed by its own privacy policy.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioural advertising cookies on this site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, book a call, or send a quote.
• To deliver the engagement you have contracted us for.
• To send you operational emails about your engagement (invoices, project updates, scheduled deliverables).
• To meet our legal obligations under Australian tax, contract, and consumer law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with marketing partners. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models on your behalf without your written consent.

How we protect your information

• All system access during an engagement is read-only by default unless you explicitly grant write access for a specific automation.
• Credentials are stored in encrypted password managers, never in plain text.
• Mutual NDAs are signed before Phase 0 begins.
• Agents deployed during an engagement run in your accounts (your Xero, your ServiceM8, your Google Workspace) — not ours. You own the deployment, the prompts, the configurations, and the credentials.
• If our engagement ends, you keep everything built. A full transition pack is delivered.

Third-party services we use

To run our business, we use the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Google Workspace — email and document storage.
• cal.com — scheduling.
• beehiiv — newsletter subscription, if applicable.
• Hostinger / GitHub Pages — site hosting and DNS.
• Xero or MYOB — accounting and invoicing.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• LLM and API providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) when delivering an engagement. The specific providers used are scoped during Phase 0 and disclosed to you. We do not feed your data into model training pipelines.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies — essential only, for example to remember your preferences on this page. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can:

• Access — ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete — ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, for any marketing or optional processing.
• Complain — if you believe we have mishandled your information.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au.

Data retention

• Engagement records — kept for 7 years from the end of the engagement, as required by Australian tax and contract law.
• Web server logs — 90 days.
• Email correspondence — kept for the life of our relationship plus 7 years.
• Read-only system access — revoked at the end of any engagement, or sooner on request.

Cross-border data transfer

Some of our third-party services (Google, Stripe, LLM providers) store data outside Australia. We only use providers that contractually meet APP 8 cross-border disclosure standards.

Children

This site and our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised effective date below. Continued use of our services after a change means acceptance of the updated policy.
